Beyond the Practice: 2026 ARRive Recap
2026 ARRive Recap
This past August, third-year residents were invited to join the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) for a one-of-a-kind weekend designed to prepare them for the transition from residency to practice. The weekend was a tremendous success, featuring engaging and interactive programing featuring AAP, AAP Foundation, and American Board of Periodontology leaders as well as up-and-comers in periodontics. Learn more about the programming our third-year residents experienced here and view the recap below:
We also would like to recognize our Miles of Smiles award winners: Dr. Amanda Vicari and Dr. Abdusalam Alrmali. These individuals let their smiles lead the way the moment they ARRived! Our team monitored AAP social media channels and looked for group photos, selfies, and videos of attendees’ experiences at ARRive, ultimately deciding that these two individuals took the cake.
Thank you to the Midwest Society of Periodontology for sponsoring the Miles of Smiles Award.
