Educator Symposium
140 educators attended the 2025 Educators’ Symposium: “Are We Graduating Truly Competent Professionals?” Attendees enjoyed listening to how different schools are implementing Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) in periodontal education and clinical training. They discussed implementing standards for practical approaches to incorporate progressive learning autonomy into periodontal teaching, and identified the role of EPAs in predoctoral and postdoctoral periodontal education.
