AAP Foundation at the AAP Annual Meeting
The AAP Foundation will have a robust presence at the AAP’s Annual Meeting in Toronto. The Foundation Booth is being redesigned as a welcoming space in which current and prospective donors can learn about programs, meet the staff, interact with volunteer leaders, enjoy some refreshing infused water, and complete a variety of tasks including:
- Making a donation or pledge
- Picking up donor recognition and other ribbons for their name badge
- Nominating a Student or Practice Ambassador
- Ordering gifts and cards to honor patients and referring dentists
- Discovering silent auction items
A favorite Annual Meeting tradition, the AAP Foundation Silent Auction is made possible through generous donations from individuals and corporate partners. Bidding on all items starts at 50% below retail value, giving you the chance to score great deals on practice essentials, wine, travel, and more. All proceeds from the winning bids directly support the Foundation and the future of periodontics. Register by texting AAPF25 to 76278 and join the bidding October 14–18. Most winners will receive their items later by mail.
The Foundation is actively seeking contributions for the auction, from periodontal supplies and equipment to artwork, fine wines, and stays in vacation homes. Although most items are advertised with a photo, we are especially seeking a few small, high‐value items that will be easy to bring into Canada for display at the booth such as designer watches or handbags in new or like‐new condition. Email [email protected] to donate.
The Foundation will recognize its award, scholarship, and fellowship recipients, as well as our major donors and industry partners, at the joint AAP ‐ AAP Foundation Awards Ceremony. Thursday, October 16, 5:30-7:00pm, Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The Foundation will again provide Annual Meeting attendees with valuable information at the Practice Transition, Retirement, and Estate Planning Breakfast, as well as the opportunities for philanthropic impact that those life events can create. Friday, October 17, 6:30-8:00 a.m., Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Sponsored by Treloar & Heisel.
