New District Communications Program
To better accommodate the busy schedules of our members and volunteers, the AAP has decided to evolve the District Town Hall program into a more contemporary model which better aligns with the Academy’s member engagement and communications strategy.
Scheduled to launch in Q4 of this year, the District Communications Program will continue to utilize email messages via the District Digest e-newsletters, while embracing new communication channels including video messages and dedicated District communities hosted within AAP Connect.
Stay tuned for additional information on this exciting new program!
Introducing PerioSphere on the New AAP Connect
As part of its bold and refreshing update, the AAP Connect online community prominently features an updated discussion group called PerioSphere.
In the same spirt as the Open Forum, PerioSphere encourages participation from AAP members to seek guidance from peers on challenging cases, share unique insights and discoveries on their own cases, or to simply start conversations on topics of interest to the periodontal community.
Created and designed to foster collegial, courteous, and professional engagement amongst members, PerioSphere content will continue to be subject to the Terms of Use and contributions and content determined to violate these terms will be subject to review.
